New Orleans is the biggest city in the American state of Louisiana. The city lies on the banks of the Mississippi river. This fresh white louvered cupboard made of acacia wood is particularly stylish with its movable shutters on the front and side. Inside the cupboard you will find five ample shelves and a large drawer.
Acacia wood is a sustainable type of wood derived from fruit trees. The acacia tree, also known as the mimosa tree, grows quickly. Once the tree's fruit yielding days are over it is chopped down and a new replacement tree is planted. Thus, responsible felling can be done. Acacia is a hardwood species and is known for its ability to withstand a knock or two.
As Acacia is a fairly 'wet' wood, small hairline cracks may occur during acclimatisation. This has no effect on the quality of the furniture pieces, and moreover, matches this type of wood and its rugged look&feel. All RM furniture made of acacia wood is handcrafted. All parts are measured by hand and then painted in matte white lime paint. Even the paint is mixed manually by colour, resulting in a slight colour difference between the furniture.

You can indicate yourself when you would prefer to have it delivered. When an item has a delivery time, it will be sent as soon as the item is back in stock. Furniture will be shipped with Gorter.
