Are all stores and the webshop open?

Since his appointment by the Amsterdam Court on June 24, the trustee has held discussions with the financier and the main (IT) suppliers of Riviera Maison. The aim was to keep the Riviera Maison business operational, with a view to a possible restart and the preservation of the Rivièra Maison brand.

 

The discussions went well, and many suppliers have shown understanding and reasonableness. As a result, the trustee has been able to make arrangements so that the Rivièra Maison stores have been open again since July 4, 2025.

 

The stores will remain open in the coming weeks from Thursday to Sunday (Laren branch closed on Sundays). The shops are open on the specified days from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

 

The webshop is still closed for now. The trustee is working with the parties involved to find a solution to reopen it as soon as possible.

 

Please note: the following special conditions apply to sales in the stores:

 

· Payment is only possible by debit card (cash and credit card payments are not accepted).

· Purchases cannot be returned and complaints cannot be processed.

· No warranty is provided on purchased items.

· Gift cards and/or vouchers cannot be used and/or redeemed.

· Custom-made furniture cannot be ordered.

· Purchased items can no longer be returned for a refund of the purchase price. This applies both to purchases made before the bankruptcy and those made after or to be made.

· Repairs of defects in products purchased during the bankruptcy sale will not be carried out by or at the expense of Rivièra Maison.


I ordered a Rivièra Maison product from an external sales partner, will my product still be delivered?

You must check this with the external sales partner.


What about warranties on my product?

If the product was purchased from an external sales partner, we refer you to the external sales partner for warranty conditions. Warranty on a product purchased directly from Rivièra Maison is unfortunately no longer applicable due to the bankruptcy.

 


Can I still return an item?

Unfortunately, items can no longer be returned.


Can I still exchange an item?

Unfortunately, items can no longer be exchanged.


What about Rivièra Maison gift cards?

Gift cards can no longer be used for payment. New gift cards are also no longer being issued.


I ordered a product that was in stock at Rivièra Maison and have not yet received it, will I still get it?

You may have placed and paid (in part or in full) for an order in the stores.

We are currently busy sorting out and checking store orders.

Your order may be fully available, but it may also be only partially available. Your order may also be with an external carrier who, due to the bankruptcy, no longer wishes to deliver. We have requested information from the relevant carriers.

If your store order is available or partially available, you will be contacted within the next two weeks to ask if you are still interested in taking over the items you ordered and that are available. You will also be contacted if your order is with an external carrier.

If we have not contacted you before July 23, 2025, you can assume that the goods you ordered are not available and that unfortunately we cannot do anything for you. If you have made a down payment, you will receive a standard letter from the trustee by email, which you can use to contact the Stichting Garantieregelingen CBW via this link: Riviera Maison bankrupt.

I have a claim against Rivièra Maison and want to submit it to the trustee. Where can I do that?

That depends on the Rivièra Maison entity you have a claim against. This may be stated on the invoice, receipt, or contract you received from Rivièra Maison. If you have a claim related to a purchase in the store or are a Rivièra Maison dealer, you probably have an agreement with Rivièra Groothandel B.V. If you made a purchase in the webshop, you probably have an agreement with Rivièra Maison B.V. I ordered products from Rivièra Maison, which i I haven’t received. However, I’m still being asked to pay (all or part of) the purchase price by a third party, such as Klarna, PayPal, or Bol.com. What should I do?

In this situation, you should get in touch directly with the third party requesting payment. Unfortunately, the trustee is unable to assist you with this issue.
