John & Inge de Wolf
John de Wolf and his wife Inge de Wolf have been living in their beautiful apartment in Rotterdam for two and a half years now. Together with their large blended family, they are incredibly happy, but they were still missing one important element: a generous sofa where everyone could fully relax together. Thanks to the furniture from Rivièra Maison, they created a warm and chic atmosphere where everyone feels at home. “Once we’re all together, the space feels wonderful and everyone has their own spot. It’s amazing.”

HOW DO YOU UNWIND AFTER A LONG DAY, JOHN?
“When I come home, I love collapsing onto the sofa, especially in the corner seat. I often turn on sports television, mainly football, while enjoying a delicious homemade cappuccino.”
DO YOU COOK ELABORATE DINNERS OR PREFER TAKEAWAY AFTER A LONG DAY?
“That really varies. Sometimes we enjoy cooking elaborate meals, but we also love dining out or ordering food. We’re generally very flexible about it.”
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL IN A HOME WITH A LARGE FAMILY?
“A spacious sofa with room for everyone in our large family. Having a place where we can all be together is very special. Because everyone has such busy schedules, it doesn’t happen as often as we’d like, but when we are together, we truly appreciate the space. Everyone has their own spot, which is wonderful.”
WHAT DOES THE ULTIMATE FEELING OF HOME MEAN TO YOU?
“For us, the ultimate feeling of home is exactly this: sitting together on this large sofa. We love making things cosy with candles, soft lighting and something delicious to eat. We’ve been living like this in this home for two and a half years now and we truly adore this house. I still come home and think: ‘Wow, is this really our home?’”
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE BRANDON SOFA?
