Following on from its venues in Hoorn and Wervershoof, Restaurant Tasting House Gewoon Lekker opened a new one in Zaandam too. The restaurant is situated in a delightful, historic building that dates back to the 18th century, and lies in the centre of Zaandam with views across the Zaan and Voorzaan, right next to the city's old locks. The 750 m² building with three floors boasts authentic detailing such as arched windows, high ceilings and rooms brimming with character.
The entire premises serves as a restaurant, and the top floor also has a bar. The restaurant has been superbly designed by Rivièra Maison and the personnel wear matching denim aprons from the collection. In May this year the Gewoon Lekker concept shall also open its doors in Purmerend; likewise, Rivièra Maison shall take care of the interior design and styling here too.
