The picturesque Toolenburg Lake is located on the outskirts of Hoofddorp, heading towards Nieuw Vennep and Zwaanshoek. Toolenburg Lake offers a unique location in which we, Marco Schoonhagen and Petra Brinckman, have chosen to develop our successful business Restaurant Long Island.
The style of the building is focused around a covered terrace that opens up to look out towards the beautiful waterfront. This particular style of building follows the basic design of what you may typically encounter on Long Island New York.
Restaurant Long Island strives to provide every costumer with an all-round experience, not only presenting a variety of fresh and delicious dishes and beverages; but by allowing you to enjoy the nice views of Toolenburg Lake whilst in the comfortable surroundings of Rivièra Maison decor and furnishings. Restaurant Long Island is unique, not only in terms of its physical design and open structure but also in regards to its choice of staffing. During the week we offer employment to people with intellectual disabilities, inviting them to take part in a number of different duties within the restaurant. These employees play an extremely special role within our business, and offer a great deal to our restaurant in terms of cooperation and socialization
