Tribe

Tribe Company is a successful business, managing artists and organising major public events, such as 'Friends of Amstel LIVE!' and the 'ZAND Beach festival'. They were in need of a larger office. A new building was built, nestled in the meadows just outside the village centre of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, with inspiring views of the Amsterdam Arena and the new Ziggo Dome. They contacted Rivièra Maison, looking for an appropriate design for their new office. We went to visit Machiel Hofman, co-owner and founder of Tribe, and asked him why the Rivièra Maison style in particular appeals to him.

Machiel: "I feel a strong match between Tribe and Rivièra Maison's DNAs. We both work innovatively, represent quality and continue to grow despite the economic crisis. In order to attain the public's interest and appreciation, continual innovation and novelty is key. There too, I see a strong resemblance. In addition, both companies are underpinned by a strong sense of family. We work with a small, tight-knit team. Riviera Maison is huge, with many stores and a wide range of products, yet behind the scenes, the work is carried out by a proportionate small group of people.”
